Villa Comunale is an attractive urban park located along the picturesque seaside in Naples Italy. It was constructed by King Ferdinand IV in the late 18th century.
The park was originally a royal garden that was opened to the public on designated holidays. It is over 1 km in length and runs along Via Caracciolo (street) from Piazza Vittoria to Piazza della Repubblica.
The Darwin-Dohrn Museum is located in the park.
Via Comunale features a number of attractive statues at the Piazza Vittoria park entrance.
