The Naples Italy public transit system is an integrated network of buses, trams, metros, funiculars and commuter rail lines.
The metro system is comprised of two lines. There are three tram lines, four commuter rail lines and three funicular lines.
A single transit ticket on the Naples public transit system costs 1.20 euro and is valid for 90 minutes on all buses, metros and trams. A single day transit pass can be purchased for five euro.
Many national and international private bus services pick-up passengers at at Piazza Garibaldi or Piazza Municipio (near the ferry terminal).
