The Naples public transit system is comprised of bus metro system and a tram systems.
The metro system currently has two lines and a third is under construction. There are two tram lines. A single transit ticket on the Naples public transit system costs 1 euro and is valid for 90 minutes on all buses, metros and trams. A day transit pass can be purchased for three euros.
Many national and international private bus services pick-up passengers at at Piazza Garibaldi or Piazza Municipio (near the ferry terminal).
