The Circumvesuviana Commuter Rail Service is a light rail system that connects downtown Naples to the resort town of Sorrento Italy.
Among its many stops on route to Sorrento are stations at Herculaneum and Pompeii.

The departure point for the Circumvesuviana Commuter Train is just a short underground walk from Stazione Centrale (Naples' Central Station).
