Naples to Amalfi Italy

The beautiful town of Amalfi Italy is located on the Amalfi Coast, southeast of Naples Italy.

There are three ways to travel there from Naples using public transportation:

1. Boat from Naples Ferry Terminal to Sorrento; bus from Sorrento to Amalfi
2. Conventional train from from Naples to Salerno; bus from Salerno to Amalfi
3. Commuter train from Naples to Sorrento; bus from Sorrento to Amalfi

A full day bus pass for the Amalfi Coast costs 8 euro - a real bargain!

It is not recommended to take a private vehicle on the road between Sorrento and Salerno as the road is narrow and treacherous.
